Dubai business district
Mainland or free zone route
Driven by registered area on the mainland
Yes, subject to the licensing route that applies there. Some districts sit inside a free zone with its own registrar; others are mainland areas where a DET licence and a registered Ejari tenancy apply. We confirm which applies to the specific building you are considering before you sign anything.
On the mainland, yes — visa allocation is driven by the registered area of your office, roughly one visa per nine to ten square metres. In a free zone the quota comes from your package rather than the address. See mainland company setup.
Rents vary enormously by building, floor and fit-out condition, and they move with the market. Rather than quote a figure that dates within a quarter, we will price current options against your actual headcount and visa requirement when you are ready to look.
