When should I start the renewal?

A few weeks before the expiry date. That leaves time to renew the Ejari or lease and to fix anything that would hold the licence back.

What happens if I renew late?

Authorities charge late fees that grow with the delay, and an expired licence stops visa processing and other government services for the company until it is renewed.

Can I change activities or shareholders at renewal?
